It’s a dreary, but warm November day. Nice enough to go outside in shorts. Kind of odd. These grey skies are making my girl blue along with what seems to be a forgotten lunch/play date. Our friends were supposed to come over at 1pm. I’m just hoping nothing terrible has happened. In the mean time Meg is sulking and feeling quite disappointed.
This is the 2nd time we’ve invited people to our home for a visit since we moved. This will be the 2nd time our guests did not show up without a call. When you are five and even when you’re an adult, it can make you feel very unwanted or uncared for. We will continue to wait patiently and with hopeful hearts.
