We went to see Ironman 2 at the Imax last night. I enjoyed it. It was entertaining. I didn’t see Ironman 1, so I don’t have a basis for comparison. I heard that people are saying it’s not as good as the first. At least I got to enjoy it for what it was.
Robert Downey Jr. did a great job, as expected. Gweneth Paltrow, in typical fashion, was whimpy and vapid. I wished she had been a bit more kick ass, although I’m not sure if her acting skills would convince me. I like her in other roles where whimpy and vapid is perfect. lol
Mickey Rourke’s character was under developed. I think he was the most interesting character in the movie, and it’s a shame they didn’t do more.
The movie was a bit long for me. I was yawning by the end. I stuck around to see the trailer at the end (after credits) which looked interesting.

I made this for dinner tonight. It’s my favorite Mac n Cheese Recipe and I thought I would share it. It’s super easy. Most know, but I never assume…
2 cups of raw macaroni = 4 cups cooked 🙂

I love bunnies, and I found these crackers at a local market:
To be honest, they really didn’t taste good to me, but this is the part I loved most about this product:

I’m also still enjoying my new passion for sewing. It took me quite some time to finish a quilt for Meg, but I was pleased with the outcome. I made a matching bolster cover and still hope to make some other throw pillows and a pillow case. As soon as it’s all done, I will post a pic.
In the meantime, I finished my first handbag tote…
I loved this project and it was such a breeze to make!
In typical Lemin Pi fashion, I gave this away to Meg’s Grandmother as a Mother’s Day prezzie.
When I make my very first of anything, I have a tendancy to give it away as a gift.
You will certainly see more totes in the future!

I graduated from an art school in Montreal. I have always loved music, and I think it has come naturally for me because my family is comprised of singers. While I studied and did some painting in school, I never spent a lot of time on it. In the last year I have started painting again and this is one of my latest creations:
Obviously it is Spring inspired. I love the vibrant colors.
