I started working out again today. I was grumpy and tired all morning, but I was looking forward to a good sweat anyway. The eliptical looks so undaunting and simplistic, but have no doubt that it is a killer. Getting back on it was exhausting, and I was just talking myself through each minute. When I was done I felt like throwing up. I had to walk until my stomach calmed down and I didn’t feel so seasick. That’s just how hard I worked out. It was all worth it though.

I could barely walk for a couple of hours, but some time spent on the porch relaxing in this awesome sling chair was like therapy. I love our porch. It overlooks the pasture framed by these very tall trees where the birds spend their day singing to one another.

In the last few days the weather has been perfect for just enjoying the warm breeze and having breakfast on the porch. Our House I almost feel guilty for being able to enjoy the serenity of our surroundings.

After some time relaxing and lounging we went to the park where Chris showed Meg and I how to play Disc Golf. It was pretty cool. He’s very good at it and it’s a good workout walking the greens. It was a really splendid day indeed.

I feel pleasantly tired. I’m just so happy to be exercising again.

We went to Chinatown today and you know you can find all kinds of Hello Kitty goodness there. I bought a car decor toy and this is what was on the packaging…

I actually bought this at the pharmacy without reading the back. When I got home Chris pointed it out to me lol.

Fever Reader0001

It’s accurate and reliable, but if fever is indicated double check it with a real thermometer in case it’s wrong :s What if it’s wrong when it says there is no fever?

I love my Cricut! I’ve made good use of it quite a bit since I got it for Christmas.

My latest hobby…

Baby Blanket 001

My first quilt is a baby quilt. I originally thought it was going to be big enough for a lap, but it’s worked out. My friend Deirdre had a baby girl and I will be giving this to her.

I made this one for Chris’s grandmother.
